Made to Order

MADE TO ORDER PROCESS:

Our products are created just for you! We do not mass produce our products and store them in a warehouse until they are sold. Instead, our products are made to order with on-demand production. This means your items are not made until you purchase them, creating less waste than conventional manufacturing. While this type of production may increase the time it takes for an item to be shipped, it helps keep costs lower for you and creates less of an impact on our environment.

We also use multiple production companies to manufacture our products. Each company is picked based on their expertise in the field for the particular product we create. For example, we may use one company that is at the top of the field in embroidery to produce any product that requires embroidery. While we use another company that is better at graphics to make our t-shirts. This helps keep costs low, while still maintaining excellent quality. This does however, mean that your order may be shipped separately.

We understand that longer shipping times can be frustrating, so we work to ensure that you receive your products as soon as possible. This means you may receive your order in multiple shipments. We will ship items that have a quick production time to you as soon as they are completed. Products with a longer production time may be shipped separately, once they are completed. This helps lower the overall cost to our customers by reducing storage fees and allows us to get our products in your hands quicker! There are no additional shipping fees should your order be split into multiple shipments.

PRODUCTION PROCESS:

We use several different processes to make our products. The type of process used is determined based on several factors: the desired result, quality of the finished product, cost to manufacture, and the customer's needs. The processes used include DTG (direct to garment), Sublimation and Sew and Cut Sublimation, as well as Embroidery. Below are details on each process:

DTG (Direct to Garment) - This process is pretty straight forward. The product is placed into a machine that applies special ink directly to the garment, then cured. The ink lays on top of the fabric so you are able to feel it. This process is best for applying designs to all types and colors of fabrics, especially cotton. Because of this, it is most often used to create t-shirts. The only con to this type of application, is that it does not do great with extremely detailed designs. Washing instructions include turning the shirt inside out to wash, and air drying or drying on low heat. This prevents cracking to the design.

Sublimation and Sew and Cut Sublimation - This process involves printing the design on a special paper, using special ink, then heating the design down (or fusing) to a polyester substrate. Sublimation ink can only be used on polyester, or a high polyester blend fabric. The design is infused into the product; therefore, you are not able to feel the design. Sublimation can be used for t-shirts as well as drinkware, towels, coasters, and pillowcases so long as they are polyester or have a polyester coating. This process allows you to use any type of graphic, even one that is extremely detailed. The con though, is that it can only be used on polyester. Polyester shirts, while super soft, do not come in different colors, only a white base color. Also, polyester fabrics tend to have less stretch than your typical cotton. Sew and cut sublimation is the same process, however, the design is sublimated onto the fabric first and the fabric is then cut and sewn together to create the product. This is a great process for making shoes and dresses. Care for these types of items is extremely easy. They can be washed and dried on pretty much any setting.

Embroidery - This is probably the best-known application. Embroidery designs are created by taking a graphic, digitizing it (putting it into a format that an embroidery machine can read) and sewing it onto a product. Embroidery can be limiting with colors and details though, so more simple designs are better for this type of application. Care for these items is fairly simple. Turn inside out and wash and dry on delicate. For larger items such as jackets or vests, it's usually best to have them dry cleaned.
